Chapter 7: The Dance
((A/N: Feel free to call me cliche for having the title of the triangle be the undercurrent plot of the previous chapter, but I couldn't think of anything better, okay?))
Leo was officially nervous. He was standing in his room in the Argo II, looking at the clothing he was supposed to wear to the dance. It wasn't that it wasn't good looking. If he hadn't known better, he'd say one of Piper's siblings picked it out. Black denim jeans, white socks, black converse shoes, and a shirt. The shirt was something else, something obviously pulled out of another guy's wardrobe. A deep, dark red, almost like a mix between black and red. It went well with the pants, yet provided some color. Also provided was a black digital watch (like Leo's wasn't better), a brown leather belt (he'd stick with his tool belt), and a suggestion of what he do with his hair written on paper. He knew what to do witrh that. He casually held it, and lit it on fire. As the boy watc

It had been a few weeks since they started going out. Ever since he was dating Reyna, Leo found himself slowly changing. He was less likely to crack some kind of bad joke, and more likely to think about it first. Granted, this chance was only a slight one, and he still made the occasional bad pun more than occasionally, but still, he had a chance to consider it. He was more carefree, but no longer for the same reasons. He was no longer trying to hide the pain he had been feeling, because Reyna was a natural balm for it. In addition, he was more.. grounded. She kept him level. And that was always a good thing. He was sensitive to what she wanted, something he didn't think would happen for any organic creature, and he was doing his level best not to be a dissapointment. And whenever he saw her... speaking of Reyna, there she was. Her black hair was in it's usual braid, she was in jeans, tennish shoes, and a white tee, and had a nice

A Stable Relationship
Reyna woke up in her bed in the big house, feeling interestingly warm. What had happened that had... Oh. A smile grew on the daughter of Bellona's face as she remembered the Bunker... The Guided Tour... The kiss. Even thinking about it made Reyna feel a tingling inside her gut.Not one of her usual ones that warned her of danger, though. it was completely different. In fact... she felt as though it was a good tingle, something that she woudn't mind experiencing again and again. She closed her eyes, and could almost imagine Leo's lips against hers. They were warmer than normal, which Reyna found less than surprising, given his fire powers and everything. Normally high body temperature. She wondered if he ever had difficulties with doctors who would think he had fever. She smiled at that. Heh. She hadn'tdone much smiling since her taking of leadership in New Rome, but she found herself smiling more and more... maybe that was a side effect of ha

Chapter 4: Our Litte Secret...
Reyna was stunned. If the graecus was a monster, she would have been dead. She cursed silently. "Valdez," she said dangerously, making sure to keep her tone level. "What did you do, emerge from the stone? I thought your dad was Hephaestus, not Mithras." Leo seemed confused by that, but he didn't ask for questions. "Um, how about I let that be my little secret? Reyna looked at him crossly. Keeping secrets is not an advised method for earning the trust of those whom you once attacked, possessed or not. Leo looked slightly hurt by that. I did mention I was sorry, right? Or was that deathmatch thing not enough? Now it was Reynas turn to feel bad. Was she really that cold to him? Or to anyone else? She looked down in shame. So What were you doing here, anyways? Leo smiled. How about this? We go to dinner, and Ill show you afterward. Reyna frowned. Did you
Learn to Be Lonely P.3 Lonely are the BraveEvery synapse, every nerve ending, every single inch of the left side of her body was acutely aware of Jason’s presence. They’d been sitting side-by-side at their desk, hard at work for near an hour now. They had made casual conversation for a little while, but had eventually drifted into an uncomfortable silence, each concentrating on their own work. Or trying to. Reyna knew that Jason was trying just as hard not to think about Reyna as Reyna was about Jason.Learn to Be Lonely P.3 Lonely are the Brave by ~Natalia1417
A permit for the construction of a café in New Rome stared up at Reyna. She frowned. It seemed like the words scrawled across the sheet of paper were purposefully making themselves incomprehensible for her, only deepening her distracted state. She only ever had a problem reading when Jason was sitting silently next to her.
He had a very demanding presence, which had nothing to do with his being praetor. When he walked into a room, everyone noticed. He commanded respect. Though Jason was a
